Tomer Singer, a board certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology,  joins The Center for Human Reproduction after completing his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan.

Dr. Singer received his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine Degree from The Sackler School of Medicine where he received the Dean’s honor award. 

Having completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, Dr. Singer performed hundreds of surgical procedures with an emphasis on minimal invasive surgeries (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic). As a chief Ob/Gyn resident at Lenox Hill, Dr. Singer supervised a team of 12 physicians. Dr. Singer received numerous awards including the John O. Vieta Best Resident Award, Best Teacher Award and Best Resident Research Award.

During his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Singer pursued several areas of research including preimplantation genetic diagnosis, egg donation, improving IVF outcome, and cutting-edge gynecological surgeries.

Dr. Singer is the recipient of numerous society awards including the ASRM Resident Reporter Travel Award, the American College of Ob/Gyn Resident Research Award and the John M. Thorp Research Award. The author of numerous research publications, Dr. Singer presents at national and international conferences on issues related to PGD, fertility preservation, diminished ovarian reserve, minimal surgery techniques, egg donation and IVF stimulation protocols. 

Dr. Singer is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Endocrinology (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), the Society of Gynecological Investigation (SGI), the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists (AAGL), the Endocrine Society and the New York State Medical Society.

A dedicated mentor to medical students and residents, Dr. Singer serves as an assistant Professor at the Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine where he enjoys furthering the education of future physicians.
