Micheline C. Chu, MD, Director of the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Program, completed her undergraduate training at Harvard University and received her Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Yale University School of Medicine and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.

Dr. Chu is the author of numerous research papers in the fields of gynecologic oncology and reproductive endocrinology. Special areas of interest include polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopause. Dr. Chu is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine at Hofstra University.

Vitality spoke to Drs. Rosenfeld and Chu on the joy of discovering that their patient was one of the first babies conceived at our Center.  Robert Borland returned to our Center with his wife, Beth, they left with two healthy and beautiful twins.  Dr. Rosenfeld says of the experience: "Madeline Borland was one of the center's first patients, and her son Robert was therefore one of the first babies to be born under my care.  Now 35 years later, I had the humbling opportunity to be involved in the growth of this sweet family, helping Robert and his wife conceive their own children.  This makes me a 'grandfather,' and it's a phenomenal feeling."
